Senior engineering for data-heavy software

Turn recurring data problems into repeatable work.

One costly data or support workflow, fixed in a focused 10-business-day sprint. We connect the systems, make exceptions visible, and hand your team a working process in its own environment.

A real workflow. A written scope. A defined handoff.

The work your engineers keep doing twice.

We look for a repeated operational problem with clear examples, a named owner, and enough cost or customer impact to justify fixing it now.

01 / WORKFLOW

Customer data discrepancies

A customer reports a wrong number. Your team traces API responses, source records, and logs by hand to explain it.

02 / WORKFLOW

Report reconciliation

Someone compares exports, dashboards, and underlying records every week, then chases the exceptions manually.

03 / WORKFLOW

Integration investigations

The same webhook, sync, or API issue keeps moving between support and engineering without a repeatable diagnosis.

One scope.
One finish line.

A sprint starts with the last real case, not a long technology wishlist. We choose one outcome the team can verify, then build the shortest dependable path to it.

  1. Day 0

    Define the case

Agree on one workflow, the systems involved, representative examples, access, and what a correct outcome looks like.

  2. Days 1–5

    Build the critical path

Map the current process and show a working path against permitted sample cases. Check the hard edges early.

  3. Days 6–10

    Deploy and hand off

Add tests, error handling, alerts, and a runbook. Deploy in your approved environment and walk your operator through it.

Built by someone who has run software, not just proposed it.

Ankan Systems is led by a software engineer who served as CTO while a software company reached $40,000 in annual recurring revenue. See the working demonstration and agree on acceptance tests before a sprint begins.

A clear price before work starts.

We agree on access, systems, acceptance examples, and deliverables in writing. The call to see whether your case fits is free.

Data Operations Sprint

$25,000 fixed fee

One recurring workflow, deployed with agreed tests, failure handling, monitoring, an operator runbook, and handoff.

  • Up to two agreed system integrations
  • Half due at start, half at defined handoff
  • 14-day defect-fix window for agreed scope

Paid diagnostic

$5,000 fixed fee

A written workflow map, baseline, feasibility assessment, and a proposed build scope. Useful even if the answer is to stop.

Credited toward a sprint started within 30 days of the diagnostic handoff.

Ask about a diagnostic

Before we begin.

What counts as one workflow?

One repeated process with a clear starting event and a verifiable result. We agree on the inputs, outputs, systems, and acceptance examples before the sprint starts.

Do you need our production data?

We start with permitted representative cases. Access and deployment are agreed in the scope, and the work runs in an environment your team approves.

Is this an AI agent?

Only if AI improves the chosen process. Many recurring issues need dependable integration and clear evidence first. Any AI-generated diagnosis or action remains under human review unless a tested automation policy is agreed.

What if the problem is bigger than 10 days?

We will say so on the fit call. A paid diagnostic can establish a realistic scope, or we can isolate the first useful part of the workflow.

Send us the case you want to stop repeating.

A short description and one recent example are enough for a fit conversation. If 10 days is unrealistic, we will say so.
